I love mp3, but sometimes you just want something in your hands with grooves in it. This is a return to handcrafted, truth-to- materials, kitchentable - labour- of- love bootlegging, it's a negative copy of a Sugarcubes' 12"single made from PVA glue and played on a DJ deck running in reverse. The plan is to make more durable negatives from resins, and then produce short runs of positives using woodglues. Probably Metallica records. It takes several weeks for the glue to harden sufficiently to make the discs playable. The sound quality is pretty good, although they probably have a limited life.
Any suggestions as to how to package them?
